  • What’s the difference between the live sessions and the pre-recorded courses?

    While both formats have proven extremely successful with pre-recorded courses having a 97% pass rate and live sessions having a 98% pass rate, there are differences between the two.

    Pre-Recorded Courses:

    1. All-encompassing review on what to expect for your NP exam (clinical/non-clinical options)
     2. No direct access to Professor Walden
     3. Subscription membership options for various independent or bundled courses
     4. 24/7 access to all courses available in your specific subscription membership for the duration of your membership
     5. Charged monthly until you cancel — no refunds provided if you do not cancel in time

     Live Sessions with Professor Walden:

    1. Group online in-depth tutoring sessions held according a pre-determined schedule
     2. Direct access to Professor Walden to ask questions and get answers live
     3. One-time, four-hour (4) interactive review with Professor Walden and a group of NP students
     4. Recommended at least one to two weeks prior to your scheduled exam
     5. Reviews what you can expect on the AANP, ANCC and AGNP exam
     6. No access once the session is over
     7. Charged a single upfront fee for one live session

  • Can I get a one-on-one tutoring session with Professor Walden?

    At this time, we do not offer one-on-one tutoring. Our online group tutoring Live Sessions with Professor Walden are the only opportunity to interact with and ask questions of Professor Walden.

  • What is the difference between AANP and ANCC?

    AANP is the American Association of Nurse Practitioners certification. It is the more established certification of the two that is clinical in nature. It requires 500 hours for recertification every five years. Even if you do not work, you must volunteer and keep track of your hours in order to renew your certification.

    ANCC is the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is the less clinical of the two. The blueprint of the exam has about 20% of the test being non-clinical and 80% clinical information. This certification is mostly preferred by those in management or teaching roles.

    While both are widely accepted and most employers do not seek one over the other unless specified in the job description, there are a few differences. It generally comes down to personal preference.

  • How can I stay up to date on when the next live session will be or how to get other answers or support?

  • I just passed my exam! Now what do I do?

    Congratulations! Now, you need to apply for your state license. Please check with your state’s Board of Nursing, as some states require things like collaborators prior to applying. Then, apply for your National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. The application is FREE, and you can get your NPI same day (if not within seconds). Please remember that anything you place on the NPI website application is public information. We recommend using a post office box or alternate address and phone number for your safety.

    These emails are automated. Please allow some time to pass to allow the automation to process. Check all inboxes, including your primary and the junk, promotions, updates, focus, and spam folders of your inbox.   • I received the login instructions, but I’m not sure how to access the live session.

    The email with instructions contains a webinar link or URL with login instructions. Click the link a few minutes prior to the start time of your live session (Eastern Standard Time) and wait until Professor Walden arrives to activate the session. You will be placed in a virtual waiting room until Professor Walden begins the live review session. The screen will tell you that you’re waiting for the Host to start the session so you know you’re in the right place.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    Our goal is to provide you with everything you need to pass your NP exam and to provide you with a life-long supportive community of nurses throughout your career. While we hate to see you go, to cancel your subscription:

    - Sign in to the Latrina Walden Exam Solutions™ website
     - Select your name in the upper-right corner of the website for a drop list of options
     - Select My Account, then Billing.
     - Subscription details are in the Billing section, along with the option to cancel your membership.
    As a reminder, it is your responsibility to cancel your monthly subscription within the time frame that works best for you. We do not issue refunds for missed cancellation timing on your part. Our courses are a subscription-based service, and you will be charged monthly until you cancel. Once you cancel, you will have access to the material for the remainder of your last paid month.

  • Where do the live review sessions take place?

    Live Sessions with Professor Walden are online only. Please see the first question under “Live Sessions with Professor Walden” for details on the registration process. Because this is a virtual classroom, you will be in a virtual waiting room until Professor Walden begins the session.

  • Can I switch the date of my live session?

    Switching review dates after your purchase and registration is highly discouraged, as new dates cannot and will not be guaranteed and are at the discretion of Latrina Walden Exam Solutions™ based on timing and availability.

Pre-recorded Videos

  • How do I view the pre-recorded video?

    Videos are located within your student dashboard. You can watch/listen to the on-demand videos as frequently as you wish throughout the duration of your membership. Your membership will auto-renew until you cancel. Memberships renew every month at the same time of your initial purchase.

  • If I purchase the pre-recorded videos, will I be charged after the first month?

    Yes, the pre-recorded videos are monthly memberships. You can access the video as much as you want/need until you cancel your membership. This membership will be renewed monthly at the same time of your initial purchase until you cancel. It is your responsibility to cancel in a timely manner, as no refunds are given.

  • I didn’t cancel my monthly subscription. Can I be refunded?

    It is your responsibility to cancel your monthly subscription within the appropriate time frame best for you. We do not issue refunds for missed cancellation timing on your part. Our courses are a subscription-based service, and you will be charged monthly until you cancel. Once you cancel, you will have access to the material for the remainder of your month.

  • How does the Practice Test Question Bank work? 1,000+ questions seems like a lot!

    To help you cover every aspect of your NP exam, we now offer a Practice Test Question Bank with over 1,000 practice exam questions, but only 150 questions are accessible at a time. This is so that you can review all the rationales, references and images that come with the test bank to help you thoroughly understand every question and answer. Once you’ve completed your 150 questions, you’ll be prompted to generate a new set of 150 questions from the bank. You can repeat this process as many times as you wish within the 30-day period of access from the date of purchase.

  • Is the Practice Test Question Bank a subscription like the courses?

    No, unlike our subscription-based services that are charged monthly, the Practice Test Question Bank is a one-time purchase with limited access to the question bank for only 30 days. To continue accessing the Practice Test Question Bank, you will need to re-purchase this item.

  • I got a couple of the same questions when I generated new questions. Why did that happen?

    Because the Practice Test Questions Bank generator processes new questions at random from the 1,000+ test question bank, it is possible you may receive duplicate questions from time to time. Use this tool to gauge your readiness and test your knowledge for the NP exam, making sure you’ve mastered the exam and are ready to pass!

CEUs

  • Do you offer CEUs?

    Yes! We offer four (4) CEU hours for attending a live session with professor Walden. We also offer forty-five (45) and seventy (70) CEU hours for the completion of the Bronze Max Bundle and Ultimate Max Bundle respectively.

  • When will I receive my CEU credits?

    Live Sessions: You will receive a follow-up email after the completion of your live session with a certificate for CEU credits.

    Courses: CEU certificates are sent out twice a month (on the 1st and 15th) to those who have completed the Ultimate Max Bundle or Bronze Max Bundle.

  • What if I need my CEU certificate now?

    Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you need your certificate early or haven't received your certificate after the completion of your course or live session.

  • Are these books beneficial on their own?

    These workbooks will ONLY be beneficial to those of you who have access to the Ultimate Max Bundle, Bronze Max Bundle OR ANCC Slide Review Course or ANCC Max Bundle through Latrina Walden Exam Solutions! All of the answers can be found in the power points available in the ANCC PowerPoints or System PowerPoints Sections of the course work.

  • How quickly will I receive my book?
