Job Summary
LWES has an incredible online presence that curates customer, client and partner engagement. The Community Manager must have strong written, and verbal communication skills, the ability to use independent judgment/discretion independently, and have a heart for helping people. Social Media is a tool to beautifully communicate the LWES brand, so this is a full-time, remote position in which you will also have access to office space.
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains a timeline of a content plan that can include but is not limited to writing captions, securing imagery/multimedia for each post, creating polls and other engagement tools
- Utilizes all data research and platform analysis functions to ensure maximum impact
- Heavily engages with the LWES Facebook groups and business page, as members are posting questions and discussions frequently
- Channels all conversation and comment sections towards a positive direction for the best representation of the LWES brand
- Utilize new products on the market to ensure we stay current in the social media world
- Builds campaigns and methods to cultivate new followers and engagement
- Must have a solid understanding of the LWES products, mission, and sales to capitalize on opportunities presented by students
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Social Media, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in Social Media relevant in today’s climate
Necessary Skills & Expertise
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube primarily)
- Must have an open, creative mind to expanding the LWES and Latrina Walden’s brand
- An understanding of today’s social media influencer culture
- Organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Can work independently for maximum efficiency
